Ethics:
An essential pillar of artificial intelligence in talent management

Source: Peak People HR

If the use of algorithms in the field of HR makes it possible to satisfy the quest of companies to hire the best employee (best in the sense that the latter corresponds to a specific need); or for recruitment specialists, to find the person who best corresponds to the needs of their clients.

There are a number of points to bear in mind when using these algorithms. These points of vigilance, which are akin to the ethics of AI, should not be overlooked.

Written by Ismaelle Haddouzi (Peak People HR), this article highlights 10 points to watch out for when creating data management applications.

These 10 points of vigilance can be divided into 4 major categories:

  • Human bias (voluntary or involuntary);

  • Personal data management and security (collection, retention and deletion);

  • UX Design (accessibility, transversal data management, etc.): application interface design;

  • Algorithm transparency (documentation, explanation of how algorithms work, designation of a person in charge, etc.).
